I'm a media and communications specialist with over a decade and a half of experience in the media landscape and armed with a keen eye for detail.
I honed my skills at the BBC, where I sifted through the noise of African media for years, translating headlines into insights.
My role as a Communications Officer at the Star Media Development Center further enriched my expertise in crafting compelling narratives and connecting with audiences.
I have also worked for the Nairobi-based, Somali-language radio station Star FM, where I orchestrated the chaos of live radio, turning simple news segments into audio masterpieces and delivering engaging content across platforms.
Holding degrees in journalism and communication, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work.
I'm fluent in Somali and Swahili and have a basic knowledge of Arabic.
